Klopman International have been awarded the 'Fabric and Fibre innovation Award' for the recently launched 'Klopman Vantage fabric featuring CORDURA brand technology' at the Company Clothing Industry Awards 2009.

Vantage fabric combines the proven advantages of Klopman's advanced fabric manufacturing expertise with the widely recognised benefits of the CORDURA brand. Frequently used for specific areas of reinforcement in a wide range of products, including workwear, CORDURA fabric is well-known for its resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs.

A 50/50 intimate blend of INVISTA T420 nylon 6,6 fibre, and long staple combed cotton in a twill construction, weighing 250gsm, Vantage offers the optimum combination of exceptional abrasion resistance, long-term durability and wearer comfort.

INVISTA is one of the world's largest integrated producers of polymers and fibers, primarily for nylon, spandex and polyester applications.

Klopman International is unique in being Europe's only manufacturer dedicated solely to the production of polyester/cotton blended fabrics for image workwear, protectivewear, and casual apparel - a specialisation that reaches into virtually every sphere of the world at work, as well as the high street.
