Speedo LZR Racer swimsuit swims to victory at SIA

Speedo's submissions were shortlist by a panel of key industry experts and world leading sporting authorities who remarked 'few innovations in the history of sportswear have had the market impact that Speedo's LZR Racer swimsuit has achieved in 2008'.
Heralded by the panel as a 'product of a lifetime' the Speedo LZR Racer was launched amid a global flurry or marketing and PR. The product immediately proved the worth it has shown through the extensive testing period and since launch an unprecedented 83 world records have been broken by athletes wearing the Speedo LZR Racer suit.
The judges were especially impressed by Speedo's international impact throughout 2008, “Speedo…created such a global impact on both elite performance and the consumer conscience. Despite ambitious targets, the work done across the year enhanced its sales fi gures as well as reputation.”
