Premier manufacturer of performance shirts and flame resistant garments, DRIFIRE, recently announced that Arizona competitors in the national Lineman's Rodeo were able to keep their cool during the physically demanding competition by wearing DRIFIRE shirts. Competitors found that DRIFIRE shirts were not only more comfortable than other brands of flame resistant garments, but they were also more durable.

Similar to lumberjack challenges often seen on television, the Lineman's Rodeo competition includes new and traditional methods of performing line work in both de-energized and simulated energized situations. The long-term benefits of the competition focus on improving job safety, enhancing job skills and knowledge, as well as garnering inter-company relationships and teamwork. The physically challenging competition consists of a strenuous pole climb, a hurt-man rescue, as well as two to three mystery challenges that are only disclosed the day prior to the event. Because of the physical demands of the challenge, competitors must be equipped with comfortable and durable attire to ensure optimal performance and safety.

"We are so pleased the competitors in the Lineman's Rodeo found that wearing DRIFIRE shirts helped give them a leg up on the competition. DRIFIRE's patented design helps the wearer maintain their cool, while providing a superior level of protection against the elements," says L. Gene Cone, Chief Executive Officer of DRIFIRE.

Competitors in the Lineman's Rodeo were surprised at the durability of DRIFIRE's FR shirts. Unlike other performance garments, which often had to be replaced due to holes and tears, DRIFIRE's FR shirt held up under the intense elements of the competition. Wearers also commented they were impressed with the shirt's comfort, as it did not stick to the body or stretch out in wet weather conditions. In addition to providing superior comfort, DRIFIRE currently meets all NFPA 70E compliance requirements, giving wearers peace of mind that they will be both cool and safe.

By offering the ideal combination of comfort, fire resistance and moisture management, DRIFIRE garments help people in demanding professions, such as law enforcement and military personnel, remain comfortable even during the toughest circumstances. DRIFIRE offers a variety of flame resistant garments, including fleece weight, heavy-weight, mid-weight and silk-weight styles. DRIFIRE's patented moisture wicking performance garments can be found daily on professionals across the country.

"DRIFIRE is simply a new era in fabric design. By incorporating the most innovative technology available, DRIFIRE effectively keeps competitors and workers cool, comfortable and able to perform at an optimal level," says Cone.

DRIFIRE is a premier developer, manufacturer and marketer of performance shirts and fire resistant clothing. By offering garments that provide optimal levels of comfort, moisture management and flame resistance, DRIFIRE has quickly become one of the leading retailers of performance garments today.
