The collection embodies elegance effortlessly with a variety of exclusive designs to choose from the extensive platter of creations. Designer Chandra of Sakhi was inspired by the changing hues of flora and fauna this spring. The transition from summer to winter brings with it myriad changes in all elements of nature around us, from the foliage change from amber to green are found captured in our extensive range. The collection promises to make a statement for all occasions with its ravishing detailing to superior design elements.
Cut work is a Sakhi specialty which finds expression in an array of fabrics. Cut work is a form of art that embodies delicate lace-like embroidery involving intricate hand work and a keen eye for precision.
The Sakhi SS - 09 collection re-invents cut work technique by fusing different fabrics using appliqué technique. For evening attire, bold fusions woven together by intricate cut work, a fine form of hand embroidery is a sure must have for this season.
For casual occasions, the collection also exhibits an array of light Tussar silks sarees in muted salmon pink, toned down turquoise & burnt mustard.
