Motherhood brings on-trend fashion fit this fall

The Fall 2009 collection from Motherhood Maternity was inspired by color, comfort, and cozy layers. Once again, Motherhood delivers on-trend fashion fit to compliment the expectant woman's curves, all at a price her wallet will love. Some of the best-selling items include our Under-Belly jeans and our cozy cotton side ruch sweater.

Rich, deep colors are ripe this fall. Berries and wines are prevalent alongside blues and teals, and are grounded by dark neutrals like shades of grey and black. Standout items include a cascade cardigan in dark wine and the classic pea coat reinterpreted in purple.

Fashion isn't always synonymous with comfort. But this season, comfort and convenience are in style, with a key focus on soft drapy fabrics. The essential fall silhouette is an easy tunic length top over slim leg bottoms or leggings. A long sleeved tee or two layered under an oversized tunic is the right foundation for the accessory of the season: a matching scarf.

Feminine tops with neck interest and softly tailored bottoms in menswear fabrics provide structure and detail day to night. In eveningwear, she will find saturated jewel tones in satins and knits with subtle shine and beading.

"This season, we have the fashion looks expectant moms want plus the great classics," said Rebecca Matthias, president and chief creative officer of Motherhood Maternity. "Cords, tuck stitch sweaters and heathered knits are the textures our clients can't wait to wear as soon as they put away their swimsuits."

Dressing over two million new moms-to-be each year, Motherhood Maternity offers an extensive breadth of quality hot fashions at every day low prices especially created for the young and fun expectant mom. Motherhood Maternity can be found nationwide, in Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam and in all Destination Maternity stores.
