Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc, a leading fashion specialty retailer, announced it will open a 35,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack, a unit of the company's off-price retail division, at Belmar located in Lakewood, Colo. in fall 2010.

"We're thrilled to have the opportunity to serve more customers in the Denver area with a new Nordstrom Rack store at Belmar," said Scott Meden, president of Nordstrom Rack. "We look forward to opening our doors and offering customers outstanding fashion at a great value."

This will be the retailer's third Nordstrom Rack in the greater Denver market, including one at Flatiron Marketplace in Broomfield, Colo. and another at Zelman Meadows Marketplace in Littleton, Colo. The company also operates three Nordstrom full-line stores in Colorado.

"We are thrilled about Nordstrom Rack coming to Belmar," said Stephanie Jackson, director of marketing for Belmar. "Their strong reputation with customers and amazing merchandise options strengthen Belmar's retail line up, specifically in the women's apparel category. Nordstrom Rack is going to make a significant impact on the center and I know our customers are going to be excited about this new addition."

Established in Denver in 1997, Continuum Partners LLC, is a real estate development company founded on the belief that there is a connection between long-term sustained value and high-quality urban design. Continuum Partners combines an experienced real estate development team with a solid base of capital resources to develop projects that demonstrate the principles of smart growth.

In addition to the Belmar Lakewood redevelopment, the company is involved in several projects in the Denver metro area including Bradburn, a 120-acre neighborhood in Westminster; Art House project, a group of 13 luxury homes adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art and the redevelopment of Union Station Neighborhood in downtown Denver.
