The outdoor music festival season is fast approaching and the most important item to take along is a piece that will protect you from the uncertain weather conditions and could make all the difference should things take a turn for the worse. And there is no reason to compromise on style this summer. The award-winning adidas by Stella McCartney collection offers a unique Pack Away Jacket; a must-have festival fashion staple piece which combines cutting-edge adidas technologies with Stella's unique designs.

The Pack Away Jacket is a stylish and functional lightweight jacket that packs away into an easy-stow pocket: ideal if you get caught in the rain! The jacket is made from 100% recycled polyester and features adidas CLIMAPROOF Rain technology which provides breathable weather protection. CLIMAPROOF optimises body temperature and keeps you dry and comfortable even in the harshest of wind and rain conditions by acting as a barrier to the elements, while allowing heat and sweat to escape through evaporation.

Stella McCartney, who was recently awarded 'Time 100 Most Influential People of the Year', says “Packaway is the only way to travel quick, easy, sporty and stylish. Light weight is the way forward. It sums up sport, action and taking ownership of when you do it!”

The wider fall/winter 09 collection is vivacious and energetic, featuring a bold, distinctive colour palette, innovatively constructed garments, environmentally friendly materials, glossy prints, high-shine fabrics and stunning graphics mixed with the latest performance technologies and Stella's inimitable attention to detail. This season the range continues to offer new styles in Running, Tennis, Golf, Wintersports, Cover Ups and Gym Studio, Gym Yoga, Gym Dance alongside the new Pre-Summer cruise collection.

The Pack Away Jacket hits retail in around 555 stores in June 2009, including high-end department stores - such as Lane Crawford, Isetan, Harrods, Holt Renfrew and Nordstrom - as well as adidas Sport Performance stores, leading e-retailers and selected sports retailers all around the world.
