line of silk offers ultimate lounging experience for modern woman

Ligne de Soie, or "line of silk" in French is an innovative brand of luxurious silk robes launching for Summer 2009. The robes' vibrant designs, lush color palettes, elegant patterns, soothing textures, and functional styles create a stunning garment and offer the ultimate lounging experience for today's modern woman.

Ligne de Soie's philosophy is that every woman needs something in her wardrobe that makes her both look and feel good, that is soothing and serene, yet sensible and comforting, and that travels well, an important aspect for the modern on-the-go woman. Ligne de Soie's founder, Melissa Pelz, said, "I am thrilled to introduce my silk robe line. I first observed a lack of high quality, luxurious and sexy yet functional silk robes at reasonable prices in the market so I set out to fill this niche by creating the quintessential lounging robe and Ligne de Soie was born."

These 100% charmeuse silk single- and double-layered robes feature funky pin-up sleeves, pockets, and wrap-around and double enclosures that ensure that the robe will fit snugly yet luxuriously. These robes are excellent for daytime or evening lounging, and have been especially popular with brides and bridesmaids, as gifts for girlfriends, mothers and sisters, and for women in the pre- and post-natal stages. An accompanying silk organza bag makes for easy traveling and ideal gift giving.

And if lounging in one of these luxurious robes isn't enough incentive, Ligne de Soie has pledged to donate a percentage of each product it sells online to a charity for women through its cause "Beyond Silk."
