INVISTA presents innovative legwear trends for 2010

INVISTA, one of the leading producers of integrated fibres and polymers and owner of the LYCRA fibre brand, has launched a Legwear Innovation Collection dedicated to the spring/summer season of 2010.

This additional investment from INVISTA underlines its commitment to creating long-term value for the global legwear industry by helping to develop legwear according to consumer needs. This Legwear Innovation Collection is the first part of a series of fibre and product innovations which INVISTA will launch in the coming months for the global legwear market.

The Legwear Innovation Collection 2010 presents five hosiery and seamless fashion directions showcasing LYCRA and T400 fibres. It is based on fashion trends that move between two distinct directions of thinking: rigour and escapism.

New hosiery machines and yarn types such as the T400 fibre, an innovative and first of a new generic fibre class, allow the leg to become once more a centre piece in the world of fashion.

The 2010 Legwear Innovation trends highlight new playful and seductive ways of using opaque and sheer contrasts; customised layering of different types of legwear; bold cut-outs and creative lace looks:

Painterly:
• Exotic bright colours and kaleidoscopic patterns are back unleashing the desire for escapism during tough economic times
