Koutons updates on audited financial results for year ended March 31

With reference to earlier announcement regarding Annual Audited Financial Results for the Year ended March 31, 2009, Koutons Retail India Ltd has now informed that due to oversight in point No. 16 of Consolidated Financial Results for the year ended March 31, 2008 Basic EPS and Diluted EPS have been inadvertently written as 23.64 and 23.65 respectively instead of 23.78 in each, case.

Further the Company has informed that, certain figures in Financial Year ended March 31, 2008 (both Standalone and consolidated) relating to Consumption of Raw Materials and other expenditures in Clause 2(b) and Clause 2(f) were inadvertently not regrouped as per the changed format of Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement. The figures were inadvertently written as 15,520.12 and 6190.07 for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 instead of 8396.38 and 13313.81 in clause 2(b) and 2(f) respectively.

Similarly, the Figures in column 2(b) and 2(f) of the Standalone Financial Results For the Financial year ended March 31, 2008 have been inadvertently written as 55330.70 and 19544.11 instead of 29929.30 and 44945.51 respectively. In the same way the figures in Column 2(b) and 2(f) respectively were inadvertently written as 55330.70 and 19545.29 instead of 29929.30 and 44946.69 for the Consolidated Financial Results for the Year ended March 31, 2008.
