Medical apparel maker JKT joins Mölnlycke Health Care

JKT has joined the Mölnlycke Health Care group since June 3rd. Mölnlycke has acquired 100 % of the shares. Mölnlycke will benefit from the JKT surgical market leading position and local knowledge of the Polish market. The fully owned Polish subsidiary will also be a platform for the development of the Mölnlycke Wound Care business in this country.
Selected parts of the JKT assortment could also be made available for international sales. “Mölnlycke Health Care's business is expanding, both in the wound care and surgical business. The acquisition of JKT is in line with our growth strategy. We want to strengthen our leadership position in the European surgical business and Poland represents an important milestone,” says CEO Pierre Guyot.
JKT will benefit from Mölnlycke's global market access experience and potential operational synergies. Mölnlycke will add a strong local surgical market leader to its current business portfolio.
Mölnlycke Health Care is a world leading provider of single-use surgical and wound care products and services for the professional health care sector. The Surgical Division manufactures advanced drapes, sets and staff clothing, surgical powder free gloves, skin antiseptics and custom procedure trays.
