A Pea in the Pod released the first official details of its partnership with Nicole Richie. A Pea in the Pod, the brand moms-to-be consistently rely on for stylish maternity clothes, worked closely with Nicole Richie to create a free-spirited designer line.

The 14-piece capsule collection captures Nicole Richie's signature bohemian look with key items such as the peasant top, caftan, cascade cardigan, patio dress, and maxi skirt. Signature details like asymmetric hems, braid trim and smocking are important elements in this free-spirited collection. Items will be available at all A Pea in the Pod and Destination Maternity locations and online at apeainthepod.com and destinationmaternity.com beginning August 7, 2009.

"I'm excited to join A Pea in the Pod in creating my capsule collection," said Nicole Richie. "I hope that the ease and comfort of my designs will help expectant moms to look and feel amazing throughout their pregnancy."

"Working with Nicole was a great experience," said Rebecca Matthias, President and Chief Creative Officer of A Pea in the Pod. "Her style exudes a natural, effortless beauty, and there is nothing more natural and beautiful than a pregnant woman's glow."

From sophisticated classics to fun casual looks, A Pea in the Pod offers the mom-to-be exceptional contemporary pieces that reflect her uncompromising sense of style. Free-spirited and original, classic and modern -- A Pea in the Pod is maternity redefined. Its premier line, A Pea in the Pod Collection, offers exquisite details and luxurious fabrications to display the true art of maternity.

A favorite among Hollywood's celebrity moms-to-be, A Pea in the Pod Collection has dressed clients such as Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rebecca Romijn, Jessica Alba, Naomi Watts, Salma Hayek, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Cate Blanchett. A Pea in the Pod styles can be found in all A Pea in the Pod and Destination Maternity stores.
