DRIFIRE expands FR range for women

Opening up its market to a wider clientele DRIFIRE, a leading performance clothing manufacturer and retailer, has recently announced the launch of a range of comfortable flame resistant (FR) undergarments for women. Sports bras, briefs and boy shorts are available as part of the DRIFIRE ladies' undergarments collection. DRIFIRE is one of the few companies manufacturing flame resistant performance clothing for women, making these highly demanded products.

As a premier manufacturer of flame resistant clothing, DRIFIRE is committed to ongoing product innovation to continually develop the best FR garments available. Designed to offer an optimal combination of flame resistance, comfort, and moisture management, DRIFIRE garments provide multi-weight performance with dri-release technology, creating a new era in fabric design. Ideal for users in professions requiring a performance garment for exposure to flames and Arc flash, such as military personnel, electric utilities and firefighters, DRIFIRE has an expanded line available in other undergarments, knits, sweatshirts and woven clothing.

"At DRIFIRE, we have been manufacturing high quality flame resistant clothing for many years and are proud to be one of the few companies offering the same protection and comfort to women as well. For women working in electric utility, fire services, military or other at-risk professions, it is important to be protected inside and out, and now we have products enabling them to do just that," says L. Gene Cone, president of DRIFIRE.

The DRIFIRE Women's Sports Bra does not have an underwire, which is usually a fire hazard. The bra is Arc rated, flame resistant and provides bacteria and odor protection for prolonged wear. The racerback cut and the absence of the underwire allow for maximum movement and comfort and the off-point flatlock helps to prevent chafing. DRIFIRE's women's brief and boy-short features an athletic cut to prevent riding and bunching. Both undergarments are made from lightweight flame resistant fabrics that provide maximum support without pinching the skin.

Like other flame resistant clothing manufactured by DRIFIRE, the ladies' undergarments are also designed for lasting flame resistance, with moisture-wicking and quick-drying performance as well as antimicrobial protection. The ultra comfortable fabric is engineered and patented by DRIFIRE. All DRIFIRE garments are manufactured with the Garment Layering System, where layering improves the flame resistance and moisture management capacity of the garments.

"DRIFIRE products are well known for providing superior comfort and safety. We are thrilled to expand our product offering to include these essential ladies' garments," concludes Cone.
