JV to set up sweater manufacturing unit

M/s. K.U.S. and S.A. Corporation Limited will establish a Sweater Manufacturing Industry in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone. This Bangladesh-Japan joint venture company will invest US$ 5.5 million in this project.
The company will produce all types of sweaters and will offer job opportunities to 1,942 Bangladeshi people, along with 12 foreign nationals.
An agreement for this establishment was signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the M/s K.U.S & S.A Corporation Limited in BEPZA Complex.
Representing the two organizations, Mr. M. Mahbub Ul Alam, Member (Engineering) of BEPZA and Mr. S.M Saad, Managing Director of M/s. K.U.S & S.A. Corporation Limited signed the agreement in the presence of various officials.
