GLENMUIR'S support of golf at all levels has been further enhanced by an extension of its sponsorship of the International Team Championship and upgrading of its status with The PGAs of Europe, to that of Corporate Partner.

One of Europe's leading golf apparel brands, Scotland-based Glenmuir has extended and strengthened its agreement to 2010 and continues to support initiatives and activities throughout the game, from grass roots to the pinnacle of the sport.

For several years now Glenmuir has attached its famous brand name to events such as The PGA's of Europe International Team Championships and Teaching and Coaching Conferences, where member PGA's from across the world gather.

From the Ryder Cup, the PGA Cup and the PGA Professional Championship in the UK to numerous other events, Glenmuir consistently confirms its willingness to 'put back' something into golf.

“We are absolutely delighted that Glenmuir has committed to extending its partnership with us,” said Ian Randell, PGA's of Europe chief executive.

“Glenmuir is an example that I often use to other partners and potential partners. The company has been long-standing supporters of the PGA in Great Britain and Ireland and has developed a strong affinity with PGA Professionals.

“Our partnership has provided a vehicle for Glenmuir's philosophy to be rolled out across the continent and beyond, to a point where the company now supports many of our member PGAs as well as ourselves.”

Colin Mee, managing director of Glenmuir, said: “We are delighted to become a Corporate Partner."

“One of Glenmuir's key ongoing marketing strategies is to position itself right at the heart of golf and that is why relationships with organisations like The PGAs of Europe are so important to us."

“By working together, we can develop and grow the great game of golf at all levels – but in particular by supporting PGA Professionals in their own."
