Perstaff-BOI JV for apparel products trading

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka granted investment approval to five companies for investments worth US $ 11.75 million. Mr. Dhammika Perera, Chairman / Director General signed the agreements on behalf of the BOI and formally presented the BOI Certificate of Registration to the investors.
Perstaff Holdings signed an agreement to set up an Export Trading House at Katunayake. The trading house is a joint venture between Sri Lankan and Australian investors for an initial investment of US $ 215,000. The venture will be engaged in trading electronic and apparel products to world wide markets. The commercial operation of the company is expected to commence shortly.
The investor of Perstaff Holdings Mr. Murray Stafford and Director, Mr. Anuradha Perera signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
