Francis Yuk joins WRAP as Sr V.P

Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) today announced that Francis Yuk has joined the organization as Senior Vice President. Yuk was formerly the CEO of SgT Group, a global inspection services company. His prior career included 20 years with Intertek Testing Services, most recently as President of Supply Chain Services for the Consumer Goods Division.
“Francis brings a unique set of skills and knowledge of global supply chains across numerous industry sectors” said Steve Jesseph, President and CEO of WRAP. “His in-depth knowledge of testing, inspection and quality standards, plus his early experience in social and environmental compliance management, makes him a great fit for our organization.”
Yuk is a native of Shanghai, China having received his MSc degree in Textile Sciences from the University of Leeds in the UK with post-graduate research at the Cotton Incorporated Research Center in North Carolina, USA. He is a Fellow of the Textile Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Management.
Yuk has traveled to over 50 countries in Asia, North America and Europe and is fluent in three Chinese dialects. He will be based at the WRAP headquarters in Arlington, VA and the WRAP Hong Kong office.
