Mark Hartsky brings infusion of expertise to BGF Protective Fabrics

BGF Industries announced that Mark Hartsky has joined the Protective Fabrics Division as Armor Development Specialist.Mark comes to BGF after a 29 year career with DuPont in Richmond, Virginia where he served in a number of roles, including Kevlar Ballistics R&D Technologist.
“Mark brings an infusion of expertise to our Protective Fabrics team whose mission is to develop a soft body armor solution to satisfy the stringent requirements of the new NIJ Standard”, said Robby Dunnagan, VP of Sales & Marketing for BGF.
Dunnagan added, “Mark's background with DuPont and experience with Kevlar and other ballistic fibers, will be the catalyst to propel us forward in delivering a new ballistic solution to military and civilian markets. With the addition of Mark,we intend to demonstrate BGF's commitment to the soft armor market while continuing our focus on vehicle armor and helmet markets.
