Tommy Bahama, the popular lifestyle brand, has signed an agreement with Major League Baseball Properties to create a co-branded collection of premium apparel. "We are proud to be associated with Major League Baseball on this project," said Terry Pillow, CEO of Tommy Bahama. "This partnership is a natural for us. The custom-designed shirt with baseball-inspired artwork and graphics, will be a limited production "Collector's Edition," with each shirt numbered and authenticated. These special 2009 World Series shirts will be available exclusively online at www.tommybahama.com and select Tommy Bahama's retail locations. Subsequent "Collector's Edition" shirts will be available for opening day of the 2010 baseball season, all of which are sure to be sought after by fans of both Tommy Bahama and Major League Baseball.

"Major League Baseball continuously looks for ways to broaden our connection with our fans, especially throughout the postseason," said Howard Smith, Senior Vice President, Licensing, Major League Baseball. "We recognize the strength of the Tommy Bahama brand, and are thrilled to offer fans such an exclusive opportunity during the most exciting time of year for baseball."

This latest venture joins an established array of Tommy Bahama lifestyle products, which includes apparel, accessories, home furnishings, restaurants & bars, retail stores, and even their own Tommy Bahama Rum. The pairing of Tommy Bahama and MLB on this project epitomizes the natural affinity that exists between these two brands.
