Biggest garment machinery city set up in Pearl River Delta

The clothing industry of Pearl River Delta (PRD) in China is in transition from product economy to brand economy, which has led to an escalation and enlarged demand for clothing machinery and equipment from the apparel manufacturing sector.
The clothing manufacturing sector is expected to witness investments of around 50 billion Yuan in the next 10 years in technological up-gradation as well as buying of new equipments.
Humen Town is also set to become the largest and most concentrated garment machinery market in the Pearl River Delta, once the garment machinery city is thrown open on November 14.
The Pearl River Delta has more than 30,000 garment enterprises, Dongguan has more than 5,000 and Humen Town has more than 3,000 companies. The garment machinery city is expected to realize a windfall in the next few years, due to the fast development of the business in these areas.
