Ekta Choudhary unveils 'Groovy T-shirts' line

GINI & JONY, a premium children's apparel company active for the past 30 years announced the launch of “Groovy T-shirts” a limited edition T-Shirts range in association with Bajaj Allianz.

This limited edition range of apparel, having specific messages endorsed on them, was unveiled by Ekta Choudhary, Femina Miss India 2009 at a press conference in the city. As part of this campaign, parents who will buy a Bajaj Allianz SMART KIDS policy as well as winners of the ongoing radio contests will be entitled to get a “Groovy Kids” T-Shirt free for their wards.

Apart from the 10,000 'Groovy T-Shirts' to be given free to Bajaj Allianz Life Child policy holders, it is also available from the 14th of November across all the Gini & Jony outlets. Available in 2 colors & 4 cool text options, to go well with the children from 4 to 14 year age group.

Speaking on the strategic tie-up, Mr. Akshay Mehrotra, Head – Marketing, Bajaj Allianz, says, “We are happy to announce that Gini & Jony, India's No 1 brand for kids has launched a new range of 'Groovy T-shirts'. Gini & Jony expresses your child's freedom with garments that are designed for a happy, healthy, active, adventurous life. This exercise not only helps us connect directly with the kids but also provides us a platform to connect with masses and spread the general interest messages endorsed on the range. These T-shirts are a medium to educate masses about the importance & need of child insurance.

Responding to the tie-up, Mr. Anil Lakhani, Director, Gini & Jony said, “It gives us immense happiness in associating ourselves with Bajaj Allianz. Bajaj Allianz's aggressive strategies & our broad customer base will complement each other in achieving milestones. We hope this association is just the beginning for a longer alliance with Bajaj Allianz.”

Previously, no other financial services company has ever tried to implement such a direct approach to its customer base, and this is a path breaking move by Bajaj Allianz in terms of forming this tie up with Gini & Jony. With respect to a retail chain engagement, this is an innovative move for Gini & Jony as well, as it shares equal concern for upbringing of a Happy child.
