ILG-Walls share successful track record in workwear category

International Legwear Group announced a new multi-year license agreement with Walls Industries, Inc. Under the agreement, ILG becomes the exclusive manufacturer, marketer, and distributor for all Walls brand legwear products in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This announcement comes just as ILG is ending a 29-year relationship with Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company, during which ILG remained the exclusive licensee for the Dickies legwear products and won the Dickies Licensee-of-the-Year Award in 2009.

"ILG has dominated legwear manufacturing and sales in the Work Category for nearly three decades," stated Kathy Willis, CEO of ILG. "Work wear is ILG's core business, and we plan to extend that market leadership going forward. To meet that goal, ILG needed a partner as committed to the Work Category as we are. Walls stands alone in that commitment, and its performance in the marketplace proves it."

Ms. Willis cited Walls superior product quality, market research expertise, and growing market share as the major reasons ILG sought the new relationship with Walls. "ILG has always been known for delivering superior quality products and understanding the consumer's needs. That is what our customers value," stated Ms. Willis. "Walls shares not only ILG's values, but also our key customer relationships. We understand each other's businesses, and know that quality sells even in the poor economy that our customers are fighting today."

ILG and Walls share a long and successful track record in the Workwear Category with most all major retailers including mass merchants, big boxes and thousands of independent retail dealers.
