Musto Sailing, a leader in high end offshore sailing gear, has chosen Point Loma Outfitting to be their newest retailer in North America. Point Loma Outfitting becomes only the eighth Musto Sailing retail outlet in the US.
Point Loma Outfitting is excited to add Musto to their current high quality outdoor clothing lines: SLAM, Patagonia, Atlantis, Gill, Kaenon and Camet and now Musto. "We feel that Musto expands on our current product line. The Musto HPX Collection is considered to be one of the finest offshore foul weather gear lines in the sailing industry." according to Tom Carruthers.
Point Loma Outfitting will be focusing on Musto's four core collections for the sailing industry: The Musto HPX, Musto MPX, Musto LPX and the Musto Evolution.
Musto's HPX Collection includes the Ocean Jacket, Ocean Smock, Ocean Trousers and for the really harsh elements the Ocean Dry Suit. Musto supplied Puma Volvo Ocean Racing Team with the Musto HPX line of foul weather gear during the Volvo Ocean Race this past year. The Musto MPX line still is suited to offshore sailing yet is lighter in weight than the HPX series. It is designed for ocean sailing and offers a much broader selection in terms of colors and even offers a women's MPX jacket and matching MPX trousers. This makes the MPX line a solid choice for sailing teams with both men and women.
The Musto LPX series is lightweight and designed for more inshore sailing. The Musto LPX uses the GORE-TEX Paclite Shell material providing maximum protection from the elements.
The Musto Evolution line has clothing designs for both men and women. The line offers foul weather jackets and pant combinations as well as on shore clothing for the entire crew.
To unveil the Musto Sailing Collection Point Loma Outfitting will be having a Musto Holiday Shopping Party on December 15th from 5 pm to 7 pm.
