On January 14, 2010, the Canadian Department of Health and a company which imported kids clothing, jointly announced a voluntary recall of children's sleepwear made in China. The goods recalled are children's pajamas.
The children's pajamas were sold in Canada from July to December 2009. The number of the recalled pajamas is about 738 sets. The reason for the recall is that the pajamas do not meet Canadian flame-retardant standards for children's pajamas.
Though up to now, there have been no reports of any incidents. To this end, the health department, advised consumers to immediately return the pajamas and contact retail stores for full refund or free replacement with other products.
