True Religion opens new Branded Retail Store at Green Hills
Jan '10
True Religion Apparel, Inc. announced the opening of a new branded retail store at The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville, Tennessee. Located at 2126 Abbott Martin Road, the 1,500 square-foot branded retail store will offer shoppers the entire True Religion collection for men, women and kids, including its signature jean styles, its expanding denim, sportswear and handbag collection, and a full range of licensed product.

Adjacent to some of Nashville's most affluent communities, including Belle Meade, Brentwood and Forest Hills, The Mall at Green Hills is recognized as offering one of the most upscale and distinctive shopping experiences in Tennessee. The Mall at Green Hills is home to over 100 specialty retailers, 60% of which are unique to the Nashville marketplace, including Burberry, Betsey Johnson, Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co. The Mall at Green Hills is adding 100,000 square feet of retail space to its existing 690,000 square feet footprint as well as a Nordstrom, which is slated to open in the fall of 2011. In addition to its close proximity to Vanderbilt University, The Mall at Green Hills is situated within 10 miles of over 575,000 residents with average annual household incomes exceeding $79,000.

"We are excited to announce the opening of our True Religion branded retail store at The Mall at Green Hills, which marks our debut in Nashville and the broader Tennessee marketplace," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman, chief executive officer and chief merchant of True Religion Apparel, Inc. "Since its inception, the True Religion brand has resonated strongly within the country music industry. As the birthplace of country music, Nashville, Tennessee, has its roots solidly embedded in this community and we look forward to increasing the accessibility of True Religion Apparel to this marketplace."

"The Mall at Green Hills kicks off our slate of 2010 store openings," said Michael Buckley, president of True Religion Apparel, Inc. "With 20 - 25 new store openings projected for 2010, we will continue to seek premier shopping destinations that exhibit strong traffic trends and solid productivity. The Mall at Green Hills, which receives over six million visitors annually and generates sales per square foot in excess of $680, embodies these characteristics."
