UK–based company to create jobs for local workers

M/S Talisman Ltd, a UK–based company will establish a high fashion garments industry in Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ), and will invest around US $5 million to set up this unit.
This complete foreign based company will offer employment to about 1,800 Bangladeshi people by producing high fashion garment items.
To this effect, the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and Talisman Limited signed an accord in BEPZA Complex.
Mr. Md. Moyjuddin Ahmed, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. MA Matin, MBE, Chairman and Managing Director of M/s. Talisman Ltd.
were present during the signature ceremony as the representatives of their respective organizations.
