Foreign apparel retailers which have opened outlets in Israel, just before the important Passover week beginning from March 30, have been able to generate a good volume of employment opportunities in their stores.
An increase in demand of 17.5 percent was observed for general categories of employees, while a 14 percent rise was noted in demand for sales employees. Demand for extra temporary employees also has grown during the period.
Global clothing retailers like, IKEA and H&M have entered the Israeli market and opened outlets, leading to an increase in employment for the local people. Opportunities for employment were created across all levels in the store.
