INVISTA and BPC Amersfoort have come together to unveil the latest innovation in CORDURA fabric for workwear apperal. BPC Amersfoort, known for the collection B Functional by Bram's Paris, features the recently unveiled CORDURA Denim fabric. The adoption brings together the best of each brand – the experience of BPC Amersfoort, as a leading European designer of jean apparel and the renowned durability of CORDURA fabric.

“When it came time for us to select a fabric that would allow us to create a comfortable fitting jean collection without sacrificing durability – CORDURA Denim fabric was the only choice for us,” said Willem van Setten, sales representative for B Functional by Bram's Paris. “The CORDURA brand fabric technology allows us to produce high-quality performance workwear apparel for our end users.”

CORDURA Denim fabric, based on an 88/12 intimate blend of INVISTA's T420 Nylon 6,6 fiber and cotton, is engineered to provide a 50 to 60 percent longer wear-life than traditional 100 percent cotton denim without compromising on aesthetics. CORDURA Denim fabric combines the durability associated with CORDURA brand fabrics with the comfort of a favourite pair of jeans in a completely new offering for the European workwear market.

Wear tests have shown that CORDURA Denim fabrics provided added value through the need for fewer replacements. “It is exhilarating to be working with BPC Amersfoort – a leading European designer in jean apparel for more than 30 years,” said Susannah Rayfield, EMEA CORDURA brand manager. “We look forward to continuing to develop innovative workwear solutions for garment apparel with associates such as BPC Amersfoort for the years to come.”
