The Victor Group will once again be an exhibitor at the upcoming 2010 CTI-DND CONFERENCE/MILITARY TEXTILES & PERSONAL EQUIPMENT TRADE SHOW April 7 & 8, 2010 at the Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel, Ottawa, Ontario. The Victor Group exhibit will feature a variety of the company's latest products including Victor's renowned Canadian-made, premium, worsted wool textiles.

Victor Group is a leading North American textile manufacturer comprised of three distinct business units: Commercial, Residential, and Apparel & Specialty. For more than 60 years, Victor's Apparel & Specialty Division has been one of the leading suppliers of quality woollen and worsted blends for apparel and specialty markets in North America. The company's extensive expertise allows it to create a variety of products for specialized applications including the development of highly engineered uniform fabrics.

The CTI-DND Conference is regularly attended by representatives of the Department of National Defense and the major suppliers of textiles, clothing and other personal protection products to the Canadian military -- navy, army and air force. The event is organized by the Canadian Textile Industry with the cooperation of the Department of National Defense. The conference provides an opportunity for industry participants to hear first-hand from DND their plans for future textile and personal equipment purchases, and to see the latest developments in textile/personal equipment technology.

Victor Group is one of the few wool mills operating in North America with the capabilities and resources to make the high quality worsted wool fabrics sought out for use in premium uniforms. Worsted wool products from Victor Group feature the unique properties of a natural fiber including breathability and a polished appearance. Worsted wool fabrics also wrinkle less and hold creases and shapes longer making them an excellent choice for use in tailored clothing, suits and dress uniforms.

“Victor Group has a long history of providing high-quality, well-engineered textile products made right here in Canada for the apparel/uniform market,” said Pierre Bissonnette, Director of Business Development for the Apparel & Specialty Division of Victor Group. “We are proud of our Canadian heritage and put a great deal of effort into maintaining our reputation for reliability and quality. Our premium yarns and advanced techniques create a wool product that is more comfortable for the body while also offering maximum wear.”
