Red carpet treatment will be given to teachers as dressbarn stores throughout the nation prepare for their upcoming Teacher V.I.P. (Very Indulgent Party) events. From April 15 - 18, the national women's apparel retailer will host the event at stores throughout the country on one of the four days to show its appreciation for women who shape the nation's youth.

The in-store shopping celebration is designed to pamper teachers with personal attention, spring-specific fashion tips and top-notch service. In addition, each guest who attends the event will receive 15 percent off of their entire purchase.

"This extravaganza is our way of saying 'thanks' for everything that teachers do for children and our communities. We want to show our gratitude," said Vivian Behrens, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of dressbarn inc. "We know that educators work hard to ensure that children and teenagers are given the tools they need to succeed in life and in their careers. Now, it's time for teachers to treat themselves to fun times with their colleagues and learn all the new trends in fashion."

Behrens added that many teachers are selective when it comes to spending money on their personal and professional wardrobes, which is why the event is designed to give women a wide variety of affordable, yet trendy fashions.

"dressbarn wants to support female teachers and women from various career backgrounds in their desire to look their best for less," said Behrens. "Our V.I.P. shopping celebrations are a great way for women to enjoy their family and friends while finding high-quality, fashionable styles that are practically priced."
