TransDRY wins Camping Life Editors' Choice Award

Longworth Industries, parent company of Polarmax, XGO and PMX technical base layers, is proud to announce that their new, proprietary wicking cotton PMX TransDRY T has been bestowed with a 2010 Camping Life Editor's Choice Award.

“It won't be available until September, but we just couldn't wait to tell you about it and grace it with an Editors Choice Award,” exclaimed the editors at Camping Life. “...Now there is 'good' cotton for outdoor activities,” they continued. “We've worn it and it's amazing." The Camping Life Editors' Choice Awards, in the May 2010 issue, were instituted to introduce “fresh, different, better, or just incredibly useful” products for family camping lifestyle.

In a partnership with Cotton, Incorporated, PMX TransDRY is the world's first line of technical cotton T's and undergarments with patented moisture management technology.

As the first truly technical, wicking cotton fabric, PMX TransDRY apparel actively moves moisture to the outside of the fabric where it can evaporate faster, drying twice as fast as regular cotton, and provides all the comfort you've come to expect from cotton, but with highly efficient performance features.

“We are pleased and honored that the editors at Camping Life have seen fit to award PMX TransDRY with such a coveted award,” said Randy Black, President of Longworth Industries. “Technical cotton is applicable to so many parts of our business from Outdoor to Military, and we feel really strongly about partnering with other US-based companies to create jobs and quality products right here at home,” Black continued.

PMX cotton apparel with TransDRY will be available in short and long sleeve unifit T's for Fall/Winter 2010.
