IMG-Chevron deal includes apparel, headwear & sleepwear

IMG Licensing, a division of IMG Worldwide, the global sports, entertainment and media company, announced that over the past six months, since it was selected by Chevron Products Company to expand its brand licensing program, it has added 15 licensees for the Chevron/Texaco family of brands.

In August 2009, IMG Licensing was selected to build licensing opportunities in the U.S. and globally for the Chevron, Texaco and Caltex brands, promoting the brands' rich heritage and their focus on quality through their historic brands and logos.

"We are very proud to represent Chevron and equally excited with the success we have had to date in promoting its iconic brands," said Tim Rothwell, IMG Executive Vice President and Co-Managing Director, Worldwide Licensing. "Our charge has been to increase brand impressions and visibility with consumers in new ways and through new channels and the addition of these new licensees demonstrates that we are making significant progress."

The 15 new licensees include men's and women's apparel, headwear and sleepwear manufacturers, as well as plastic and die cast toy manufacturers and collectibles, both domestic and international.
