My Sister's Closet store opens in Scottsdale

In early 2010, Eco-Chic Consignments, Inc. staked its claim as having the largest designer resale store in the country with its newly expanded, flagship My Sister's Closet location in Scottsdale, Ariz. The store touts more than 12,500 square feet of prime retail space to display high-end designer women's clothing and accessories.

With this expansion, as well as the March expansion of its affiliate brand, Well Suited, the company's total footprint exceeds 44,300 square feet in some of Arizona's nicest areas. The expansion is one of several planned for 2010, including an expansion for the company's other resale brand, My Sister's Attic, at the end of April.

Additionally, Eco-Chic Consignments, Inc. plans to launch an e-commerce initiative in the latter half of the year, enabling customers throughout the nation to tap into the company's in-demand merchandise.

Ann Siner, CEO and co-founder of Eco-Chic Consignments, Inc., said “2009 was prolific for Eco-Chic Consignments, Inc., and we plan to make 2010 even better - not only for us, but for our customers.”

While many other upscale consignment brands across the country struggled last year, Eco-Chic Consignments, Inc.'s revenue increased more than 20 percent, totaling more than $13 million. The company attributes its continued growth in revenue, customers and consigners to its commitment to customer service and dynamic brand development.

“When we started the company nearly 20 years ago, I never would have thought that we would one day have the largest designer resale store in the nation,” said Siner. “It only motivates us to grow even more over the next few years.”
