Apparel LLC to bring teen-apparel brand Garage

GARAGE, a Canadian apparel brand, which has been delivering affordable casual fashion to teens in Canada and the United States, announces the opening of its first international store outside North America.
A new Garage store operated by Apparel LLC, opened on April 8, 2010 at the Mirdiff City Centre, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The store showcases the brand's youthful looks from its Spring/Summer 2010 collection, presented in the context of its distinctive boutique feel that reflects teens' playful spirit and carefree lifestyle.
Garage chose Apparel Group as its licensee/Franchisee to open and operate its mall-based stores in UAE, and both expect to open at least another 15 stores in premier malls within the region, in the next five years.
"We are excited to bring the Garage brand to the Middle East and plan to expand aggressively in the next few years", says Anna Martini, President of Garage. "We feel that we have an expert partner in undertaking this new venture, and know that this major new shopping destination will prove to be an excellent platform in continuing to propel our growth overseas, and fuel our global vision."
