We are pleased to announce the grand opening of the “g.u. Kawasaki Dice Store,” our biggest store in Japan on Friday, April 23.

Bringing more freedom to the world of fashion, “g.u.” is proud to open the “g.u. Kawasaki Dice Store” at 10 a.m. on April 23rd in front of Kawasaki station. Featuring easy access to central Tokyo and a selling floor of 260 tsubo (860 m2), this is by far the largest g.u. store to date and also the first store in the greater Tokyo area. It is a shining symbol of the future of the g.u. brand and its ongoing mission to expand its brand presence with larger stores.

• Our first store in the greater Tokyo area

g.u. is aiming to open 200 stores by 2013. We currently have plans to open 25 shops that will bring the total number of stores to about 120 by the end of May. Going forward, we will be aggressively expanding into prime locations that have easy access to central Tokyo so we can bring the g.u. experience to the greatest possible number of customers. The “g.u. Kawasaki Dice Store” is the first step in this process.

• Our biggest store in Japan, the “g.u. Kawasaki Dice store”

With a sales floor of 260 tsubo (860 m2), approximately double the size of the average g.u. store, the “g.u. Kawasaki Dice store” is proud to be the largest g.u. store to date. Spacious and easily shoppable, the store is packed with stylish spring favorites from the women's, men's, kid's and shoe lines.

• Limited edition items for the “g.u. Kawasaki Dice Store” opening

To celebrate the store opening, we will launch a special collection of limited edition items available only at the “g.u. Kawasaki Dice Store.” items including women's tunics and men's skinny jeans that will bring a fresh twist to your wardrobe for the coming season. The “g.u. Kawasaki Dice Store” is taking g.u. into the future and setting a new standard for all stores to come.
