The Danny and Nicole to expand into new categories

Danny and Nicole, an international women's apparel firm with a portfolio of diverse, branded and private label women's collections, announced Phillip Gaynor as chief executive officer (CEO) of The Danny and Nicole Group, a newly-created position.

As CEO, Mr. Gaynor will launch a coordinated, multi-brand category expansion to include the signing of valued licensee partners across eight portfolio companies, spearhead business expansion into Asia, Africa and the Middle East and strategically manage the firms' development of new category collections. Moreover, Mr. Gaynor will initiate all brand equity and marketing programs for the entire group of companies representing apparel from moderate classic through contemporary.

Throughout his 30-year career, Phillip Gaynor has achieved a proven track record of catapulting businesses within the apparel industry. His global expertise, brand creativity and vision for strategic business development have helped expand brands across multiple apparel categories for many well-known companies.

Mr. Gaynor's career includes long-term, executive positions at MLS Designs of Maggie London International, THL Inc, Laundry, The Gillian Group and Richard Warren. Prior to joining The Danny and Nicole Group of companies, Mr. Gaynor was CEO of an apparel division at a NY-based private equity firm focusing on a complete restructure of technical men's and women's apparel and dress category brands.
