Stein Mart's casting call for fall campaign

Stein Mart, a leading national discount retailer, is holding a nationwide online casting call June 14-25, 2010 for the chance to appear in its Fall national multimedia advertising campaign. The retailer is seeking loyal customers to share their stories about why they enjoy being a Stein Mart shopper in a video submission. Those chosen to appear in Stein Mart's Fall advertising campaign will also receive a $500 Panache gift card.

To enter, shoppers should create a 30-45 second video of themselves stating why they enjoy shopping at Stein Mart. Then, visit Stein Mart's Facebook Page and select the Casting tab for instructions on how to enter or to view submissions.

Last Spring, more than 250 women “auditioned” by submitting a video during the first-ever nationwide online casting call for a Stein Mart commercial.

“The stories that our customers share are very compelling, so it only makes sense to feature them in our advertising,” says Stein Mart chairman Jay Stein. “Our brand was built on the loyalty and word-of-mouth of our customers and the women featured in our campaigns carry on that tradition.”

Stein Mart stores offer the fashion merchandise, service and presentation of a better department or specialty store, at prices competitive with off-price retail chains. Currently with locations from California to Massachusetts, Stein Mart's focused assortment of merchandise features current season, moderate to better fashion apparel for women and men, as well as accessories, gifts, linens and shoes.
