Tankini company Hapari grows beyond its borders

Hapari, a manufacturer of trendy tankinis and modest swimwear, recently announced that it has expanded into the wholesale market to build on its already strong online presence and success from its storefront business in American Fork, Utah.
“We have received so many requests and there has been a lot of interest in us going into the wholesale market. We feel like this is a good time to approach a larger audience as we continue to grow our business,” said John Curry, co-owner of Hapari. “We are having a lot of success with this, and we're glad that more people can now try our swimwear. In just the last few months, we have opened wholesale accounts in California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Idaho and Canada.”
The swimwear company's juniors tankinis, men's board shorts, plus size swimsuits and more will now be available in boutiques and retail stores across the country. Hapari has already signed on businesses that have expressed an interest, including hotels, resorts, specialty boutiques, surf and swim stores, resort spas and water parks.
Consumers can wear Hapari's tankinis three different ways, as a halter, tank or criss-cross back. Hapari has taken its popularity mainstream by improving on the things that are traditionally considered drawbacks of modest swimwear.
As part of this drive into the wholesale market, Hapari is attending The MAGIC Marketplace event, a preeminent trade show in the international fashion industry. The show recognizes new trends that are influencing consumer behavior. Hapari will be attending August 17, 18 and 19 to promote its wholesale products and showcase its tankinis and swimsuits to retailers and sales reps around the globe.
“We are fully immersing ourselves in the wholesale market,” said Jill Carson, co-owner of Hapari. “It's thrilling and exciting. We can't wait to see where it all goes from here.”
