Italian shop to house Vietnamese apparels

Owing to a deal signed between the NhaBe Garment Joint Stock Corporation (NBC) and an Italian partner, Vietnamese apparels will now be displayed on the racks of a new retail store, scheduled to be launched in the Italian city of Cagliari, early next month.
The new store will house, as per the deal, a wide variety of apparels from NBC's Mattana brand. Under a 10-year franchise, every month, the Italian retailer will be selling shirts, jackets and trousers supplied by NBC, informed NBC's Deputy General Director, Le Mac Thuan. The first US $300,000 delivery has already set sale to Italy, added Thuan.
By signing the deal with the Italian retailer, economic analysts from the apparel and textile sector said that, the deal is an outstanding progress that, the Vietnamese apparel firms have made, as it involves marketing and selling their trademarks in global markets.
More so, following this franchise, several other Vietnamese apparel businesses have launched chain stores in other nations, with the Viet Tien Garment Joint Stock Corporation as the leader.
Viet Tien has just recently launched a shop in Laos to introduce its Viet Tien, Viet Tien Smart Casual, San Sciaro and Viet Long trademarks in to the country.
Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, which are ASEAN member countries, are also cited as other possible markets by the corporation, in addition to Cambodia and Laos, to promote and sell their goods. The corporation is also working on Chinese market and other broadened regions such as New Zealand and Australia.
Phan Van Kiet, Deputy General Director of Viet Tien informed that, post their success in Asia; they are now eyeing to market their trademark in Europe.
But as per experts, foraying in to the European markets might turn out to be a difficult task than thought by corporations.
