VINATEX, General Director, Vu Duc Giang said that, the corporate are assembling to surmount the country's local market.
Domestic markets registering a growth of 28 percent over same period during the previous year, generated revenues worth VND 6,000 billion for the first half of the year.
A network of around 1,500 outlets and agents all across the nation, offers the sector with a strong base for all-inclusive growth and sustainability. VINATEX's chain of outlets each day draws tens of thousands of consumers, each generating revenue worth VND 300 million on an average.
Other businesses including Garment Company No10, Nha Be, Viet Tiet, and Thang Long too have launched their outlets and have tied up with distributors so as to widen their chain of shops. Also, as they have enlarged their distribution networks and are also promoting their products rurally.
While making a mention of their success story for last seven months, a senior official from VINATEX said that, garments are now carving their place in the country's local market while registering an average growth of 15 to 18 percent. In spite of a minor fall in some of the export markets, most of the sectors have delivered better export results as compared to the corresponding period last year.
