Epoca, a multi-brand store launched its first ever outlet in Delhi. The store has been established on a carpet area of 1,200 sq. ft. at Delhi's Metropolitan Mall.
Puneet Khanna, Director, Epoca while speaking at the inaugural ceremony said that, Epoca's products is its USP, and they have specially picked labels like the classic Dolce & Gabbana and Trussardi, as also a young brand like Ferre for display at the store.
He also added that, they have intentionally picked up the merchandise especially from the previous season as, according to him, the last season's collection embraced within, several special pieces which are now not available, but then a number of people are hunting for the same.
He further divulged that the idea of the Epoca outlet emerged arbitrarily while partying with friends. The thought was to open up a luxury space with several brands, while preserving diversity. As stated by Khanna, the products that they display are very much unlike the one being displayed at DLF Emporio.
As, they also offer the merchandise at a price 25-30 percent lower than DLF Emporio, and this is because the sticker prices are those that prevailed a year back, after considering the inflation factor, he added.
The company intends to launch 10 new outlets over the next 18 months. However, the new outlets will be larger than the first one. The second and third outlets of the company are to come up in Ludhiana and Hyderabad, respectively.
Khanna further divulged that, rather than targeting metros, they have plans to target the budding mini metros in the country. The company even proposes to set up an outlet at the Mumbai airport.
