Mamas & Papas, the number one brand of baby gear products in Great Britain, announced that it is launching its line of strollers, lightweight strollers, travel accessories and toys in the United States, through a partnership with Babies"R"Us, the world's leading dedicated baby products retailer.

Beginning August 15, a special assortment of Mamas & Papas will make its stateside debut at select Babies"R"Us stores across the country. An expanded array of Mamas & Papas gear and accessories will also be available at Toys"R"Us Times Square, Babies"R"Us Union Square and FAO Schwarz Fifth Avenue in New York City, as well as online.

Mamas & Papas has a unique history in the world of parenting since its inception nearly three decades ago. The brand was founded by working mother Luisa Scacchetti in 1981 following the birth of her first daughter, Amanda. The brand's inspiration simply stems from every mother's wish to surround her child's arrival with products that offer the foremost safety, the highest quality and the finest fabrics in stylish hues and tones. The Mamas & Papas brand ethos built on that inspiration has remained consistent throughout the years, and now Luisa's two daughters join her in creating beautiful design-led collections and parenting products for the next generation.

"We always strive to understand and anticipate the needs of expectant mothers and their partners, as well as the young ones they care for, to facilitate the design and development of a range of innovative and stylish nursery-related products.

By anticipating the ever-changing needs of pregnant women and their families, whilst remaining true to our core values, we are proud to be the number one nursery brand in the UK. My longtime ambition has been to bring our brand to American families so we can share in their unique journey into parenthood." Luisa Scacchetti, founder

Mamas & Papas is the most awarded parenting brand in the United Kingdom and is quickly gaining a reputation around the globe for design that is not only beautiful, but provides today's parents with practical solutions and the reassurance of world-class quality.
