Grand opening for Ferndale's first destination fashion store

Find your fashion is proud to announce its grand opening! The grand opening for Ferndale's first destination fashion store will take place for the entire week of August 23-28, culminating a grand opening event on the 27th & 28th. There are specials, prizes and giveaways all week long.

Barbara Scoggins decided to open find your fashion due to the changing demographics in Ferndale in particular and all of Whatcom County in general. “I felt that now was the perfect time to open a store featuring quality clothing at affordable prices,” says Barbara. “Also, we are in a perfect location for travelers from Seattle and Canada to stop by.”

Barbara hopes to become a staple of the growing Western Washington fashion scene. “Fashion awareness is really growing in Washington state,” Barbara points out. “Emerald City Fashion Week is coming up, and similar events are popping up all the time. I want to help that scene to grow and evolve.”

Find your fashion strives to be a fashion destination and support the local community. “We are not a big box store,” says Barbara. “Our decorations and atmosphere reflect the relaxed, friendly, community feel of Ferndale.” In fact, Ferndale Station itself is quickly becoming a destination for all sorts of people. “It's a very friendly area,” she says. “I enjoy that people talk and visit, even if they don't come into the store. Even though we are right off I-5, it's very relaxed. You can take your time and not feel rushed.”
