Garment exporters bag $57.5 mn order at MAGIC

In a show organized recently in USA, apparel makers from Bangladesh got an export order of US $57.5 million.
The Las Vegas event "Men's Apparel Guild in California (MAGIC)" was held from 16th to 19th August. This is the largest trade exposition of North America and is held twice a year, once in the month of February and the other in the month of August.
Eight apparel manufacturers from Bangladesh took part in the exposition under the aegis of the Export Promotion Bureau. Consulate General of Bangladesh in USA extended full support along with the EPB, MAGIC organizers and the other exhibitors.
A team from Bangladesh, headed by Lutful Hai, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Commerce, attended the event. The team assessed the country's stalls and also spoke to the organizers of the MAGIC show.
