British clothing chain Next, is to launch its first store in Bulgaria at Sofia's The Mall shopping centre, on September 1.

This is the retail brand's first store in Bulgaria and will display women's, men's and kid's wear. The Tsarigradsko Shausse boulevard location for the outlet was chosen keeping in mind that people enjoy visiting such places and the mall has good infrastructure.

The British chain intends to launch more such outlets in Bulgaria, which even includes a home furnishing shop.

The second outlet in Bulgaria too is lined up for launch; however, the company authorities are hunting for an appropriate location in other big cities.

The British chain was established in 1864 and now manages 500 outlets in the UK and Ireland, and 180 more in Europe, Russia, Asia and Japan. The company results for the initial six months of current year depicted a hike of 3.1 percent in its profits over corresponding period of last year.
