Makalot Industrial Co., a major garment manufacturer from Taiwan, booked its first ever order to supply garments worth US$20 million or say NT$612 million to Metersbonwe, a top garment brand from China.

Metersbonwe, actually was founded as a small garment outlet in Zhejiang Province's Wenzhou in 1995, but then the firm grew at a great pace, and started shifting its administration and R&D Centre to Shanghai since 1998, where it established its head office in 2005. This was the period when company's turnover almost touched three billion RMB (US $440.63 million).

The firm has around 3,000 stores in China, which generate revenue of more than seven billion RMB ($1.03 billion), each year.

Meanwhile, Makalot's garment exports too registered a robust growth of 16.67 percent per annum this year and rested at around 8.4 million dozens of garments.
