CRF-Tech, a Qatari company, was the talk of Milipol 2010 for its innovative, elegant line of Miguel Caballero bullet/stab proof clothing that was seen in Qatar for the first time ever. On a mission to preserve life, for more than 16 years bullet/stab proof clothing designer Miguel Caballero has been dedicated to producing specialized and armored personal protection solutions.

His international client base includes law enforcement agencies, military personnel, world leaders and VIPs. Each body-armor system from Miguel Caballero is tailored to the client's personal and security needs. The brand is distributed in Qatar and the GCC exclusively by CRF-Tech.

Representing CRF-Tech at Milipol 2010 were Fahad Al Baker, the CEO, Dr. Sherif Abdunnur, Representative Consultant for the Middle East and Pedro Campuzano, Key Account Manager for the Middle East.

“What makes Miguel Caballero truly unique is that our garments are not only bullet/stab proof but also highly fashionable,” said Al-Baker. “From Italian leather jackets to fresh summer Polo T-shirts, each article is made with HI-Tech textiles and finished with fine design details for the style yet security conscious client. That's the reason Miguel Caballero's distinctly chic yet discreetly armored designs have been worn by public leaders, celebrities and corporate executives across the globe.”

Miguel Caballero has also designed tailored bullet/stab proof clothing lines for government institutions and private security groups of law enforcement, military, investigation and value transportation. These armored lines incorporate in their design the use of guns, knives, radios and other weaponry with multifunctional pockets and adaptable carriers to meet the demands of missions in different environments.

The 8th edition of Milipol Qatar was held at the Doha Exhibition Center between 25th and 27th October 2010 and featured 221 exhibitors from 33 countries. The event was attended by over 5,000 visitors from state security, defense, security forces guarding industrial and sensitive sites, as well as ministers, corporate leaders, ambassadors and high-ranking officials from the Ministries of Interior and Defense.

Among those who stopped by the CRF-Tech booth at the exhibition were HE Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Qatari Minister of State for Interior Affairs and Maj. Gen. Hamad bin Ali al-Attiyah, the Chief of Staff of Qatar's armed forces.

“Milipol 2010 was just the platform we were looking for to launch our products in the Middle East and we're thrilled with the level of exposure we have received and the interest we managed to generate in visitors not only from Qatar but also from other GCC and Arab countries,” said Al-Baker. “We have no doubt our new customers in this region will appreciate our unique bullet/stab proof fashions as much as our existing customers all over the world.”
