Boggi Milano plans expansion in India

Boggi Milano, Italy's premium men's wear brand recently stated that, it is planning expansion in various parts of India. It intends to launch around 30 to 35 outlets in various parts of the country by 2013.

The company penetrated into Indian market two years back as it struck a joint venture deal with the DLF Group. Presently, the brand operates five stores in the Delhi-NCR, one in Kolkata and has even launched a flagship outlet in Bangalore, just some time back.

Now, as the company has already established itself in Indian markets, it is now, entering into a phase of rapid development, whereby it is planning this expansion through launch of new outlets in cities like Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai. The company, intending to penetrate into India's growing men's apparel market, partnered with DLF Group in a 30:70 partnership in 2008.

Indian men in the age group of 25 to 40 years looking for sartorial style will be the main focus of the super premium brand. The brand offers a wide clothing range which includes, shirts in a range starting at Rs. 1,990, polos which start at Rs. 1,490 and suits starting at Rs. 15,990. The brand even offers accessories whose range starts Rs. 2,490 onwards.
