He has a staff of ten in China and seven in New Zealand.
He oversees all activity and this is made much simpler and interactive by the video conferencing “Life size” system in New Zealand and China that is constantly on and shows both offices at work so that each office can communicate visually and direct all through the day.
“This keeps our company meshed together as one rather than feeling we are 10,000 kms apart,” explained Warren Bird, “ it allows for daily discussions, meetings, visual product development, costings, staff interviews and greater supplier interaction creating immediate communication and speeding up response time.”
