Marubeni keen on joining Vinatex to set up garment units in Vietnam

Vietnam National Textile & Garment Group, popularly known as Vinatex, recently revealed that Marubeni Corporation, a Japanese firm is willing to join the body for setting up new garment and textile units in Vietnam.
Marubeni, which slowly started shifting its investments from China to Vietnam this year, is now looking for an opportunity to manufacture textile and garment products in Vietnam.
Presently, around 90 percent of the garment products of the Japanese firm are manufactured in China. It is now looking forward to enter Vietnamese market like in the country's largest city – Ho Chi Minh, the capital of Hanoi and also in the central tourist province of Danang.
